Day 1: Merzouga – Erfoud – Todra Gorges Leave the dunes behind and head to Erfoud, the capital of fossils. Travel to the spectacular Todra Gorges, where limestone cliffs rise 300 meters high. Afternoon walk in the palmary and overnight in a traditional Kasbah.
Day 2: Todra Gorges – Dades Valley – Skoura Drive through the Dades Valley, famous for its « Monkey Fingers » rock formations. Continue to the Valley of Roses and the palm groves of Skoura, an oasis of greenery dotted with ancient mud-brick fortresses.
Day 3: Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou Explore the « Hollywood of Africa » in Ouarzazate and visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou. This fortified village is one of Morocco’s most iconic locations, seen in Gladiator and Game of Thrones.
Day 4: Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Marrakech Begin the ascent of the High Atlas Mountains. Cross the famous Tizi n’Tichka pass (2,260m altitude), enjoying breathtaking panoramic views and visiting local Argan oil cooperatives. Arrive in Marrakech by late afternoon.
Day 5: Marrakech Discovery & Departure A morning tour of Marrakech’s highlights: Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia, and the vibrant souks. Depending on your flight, Housni will provide a private transfer to the airport.
